Feb 09, 2018  Mac is supported. CONS: It only works directly with Cubase/Cubase AI. You can't use it with any other DAW, and it's not really documented on the Yamaha website. Aoc 2436vw manual. If you're just a Vocaloid hobbyist, that's probably no big deal to you, plus it gives you a free Cubase AI license (on mac) which is cool. However, to a professional this is a deal breaker.

I have other questions as well. Honestly the entire process is just confusing for me. So I wanted to buy Fukase as my first ever Vocaloid (never worked with Vocaloid software in my life), and I figured out that the starter pack doesn’t come with Piapro Studio. I also learned that I can’t buy Piapro Studio separately.

If this is the case, what does the editor that comes with the Fukase starter even look like? Can someone provide pictures? Also, do you think that the starter pack’s editor is fine to work with or would you rather recommend Piapro Studio instead?

If I get a Vocaloid 4 editor, can I use Piko (V3) on it or will that not work? Last question as far as I can remember: I tried to download the Luka V4X demo, but if I don’t already have Piapro Studio or another editor, will the demo just not work despite being given the Piapro studio installer? I installed everything in the package and I can’t even find out how to open it up :/

I've been looking for information as to where I may be able to attain more info and/or a download link for the Cubase Vocaloid for Mac but I keep coming up with blanks.
I've searched the forum here and found bits and pieces of information but nothing really informative regarding where I might attain a trial version, purchase or anything. I'm certain there is somewhere that I may attain the plugin and especially being that it is owned by Yamaha, but I cannot find anything.
I know that the technology is mostly popular in Japan BUT I also know that Yamaha released a version for Cubase; and more specifically for the Mac OS X operating system. I've even viewed videos on YouTube where the plugin is demonstrated within Cubase, although in Japanese.
Anyone can help me out on this??
